54 percent of applicants to Hannibal-LaGrange University were admitted for fall 2018

At Hannibal-LaGrange University, 75 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 59 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Hannibal enrolled 890 students in fall 2018, including 822 in undergraduate and 68 in graduate programs, data shows. 9.4 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

58 percent of undergraduates are residents of Missouri, and 32 percent are residents of other states. 10 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (83 percent) and Black or African American (4 percent).

The school admitted 54 percent of the 783 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 32 percent enrolled.
