Cost of college went up for all students at Hannibal-LaGrange University

Tuition and fees rose 4.3 percent for 2018-19 at Hannibal-LaGrange University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Missouri students paid $22,750 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $940 more than the $21,810 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 159 students received grants or scholarships totaling $2.1 million and 111 students took out student loans totaling more than $700,022.

Including all undergraduates (890), 684 students used grants or scholarships totaling $8.6 million, and 509 students took out $3.8 million in federal student loans.
