Census Bureau: More women than men in Macon in 2020

Of the 5,357 people living in Macon in 2020, 52.4 percent (2,808) were women and 47.6 percent (2,549) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NE Missouri News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 38. In the 65 and over age range, there were 731 females and 609 males.
