Ameren invites community members, landowners, and stakeholders to an in-person open house for Phase 2 of the Northern Missouri Grid Transformation Program. The event aims to provide information about the program and gather public input.

The open house for Adair County is scheduled for Wednesday, August 28th at White Oaks Barn, located at 23255 State HWY 11, Kirksville, MO 63501. Sessions will be held from 11 am to 1 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm.

Phase 2 of the Northern Missouri Grid Transformation Program includes the Denny-Zachary-Thomas Hill-Maywood (DZTM) Project. This project involves constructing over 200 miles of new transmission lines across ten counties in Northern Missouri. Most of the Zachary-Maywood line segment will be built along an existing corridor and will include upgrades to existing Ameren substations.

Each open house will offer a program overview and detailed maps for review. Attendees will have opportunities to gather information and speak directly with project staff and experts. A general overview presentation will be given at both 11:30 am and 5:30 pm during each session.

For those unable to attend in person, a virtual engagement option is available on August 19th. Questions or concerns about the project can be directed to Ameren's team via phone at 1.833.779.1633 or email at [email protected]. Additional information can also be found on their website at Ameren.com/NorthernMOGrid.
