Congressman Sam Graves, representing Missouri's 6th District, has expressed his support for the recently passed FY25 Budget Resolution. Following the vote, Graves issued a statement highlighting the resolution as an initial step in executing President Trump's agenda aimed at reducing government spending and enhancing national security.

"We just passed the first step in implementing President Trump’s agenda to cut wasteful spending, secure our border, defend our country, and give working Americans much-needed tax relief," stated Graves. He criticized President Biden's policies, attributing them to increased living costs and compromised community safety due to "wasteful spending, out-of-control regulations, and radical open border policies."

Graves emphasized the necessity of addressing inflation by tackling what he described as waste and abuse of taxpayer money. "To get our country back on track and fight inflation," he said, "we have to start at the source, stop all the waste, fraud, and abuse of our tax dollars, finish the wall, enforce our immigration laws, and secure our border." According to Graves, this budget resolution is a crucial step towards achieving these goals.
